Sarah Gerrish, LPC-A

Connecticut Telehealth Team (She/Her)

Hi there! I’m Sarah, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and graduate of the University of Saint Joseph’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. If you are exploring this page, I assume you are taking a step towards your healing journey. Whether you have been in therapy before or are just starting the process, I acknowledge the strength it took you to get here and meet you where you are.

With all of the uncertainty that comes along with life, it is key to have safe places to express your fears, hopes and vulnerabilities. I hope the space we create together can provide just that. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and warm, using various modalities depending on your needs. Clients I work with are from all different backgrounds across the lifespan, but I have a particular passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community and couples. I hope to be a collaborative, affirmative presence that can help you recognize the harmful cycles you may feel stuck in to allow for self-compassion and growth.

If you are seeking an authentic therapist to join you on your journey, please feel free to reach out. I look forward to meeting with you and collaborating on a plan to make lasting change!

  • "Having gone to therapy at another practice before Small Victories, I can say that Anna has been the best therapist I have ever had because I don't feel stuck only talking about one subject that is her 'specialty', but any thing that is weighing on me at a given time."

  • "Small Victories', and especially Colleen's, specialty in serving neurodiverse clients. Coming at my therapy experience through a lens of neurodiversity has been so much more effective than in my previous therapists who did not do so."
