Amberlee Cubanski, LPC-A
Middletown, CT & Telehealth (She/Her)
Now scheduling new clients for mid October!
I'm Amberlee, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Browsing for a therapist can be an overwhelming process, so I congratulate you on making this step! Part of therapy is tailoring the sessions to what works best for YOU, which will be different for every client.
My approach is meeting clients where they are at, understanding that building a relationship with a new therapist can take time. I use different modalities to therapy, taking pieces from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I would be a great fit for any individual or couple looking for an authentic therapist to provide support related to “unlearning” cycles they feel stuck in, feelings of sadness, anxiety, OCD-related symptoms, relationship difficulties, or struggles related to gender or sexuality.
Feeling like you will "vibe" with a therapist and can see yourself being comfortable in the therapy room is essential. If you feel I would be a good fit for you, please feel free to reach out.
